The issues on this page are related to endtime prophecy.
Sadly, the majority of Christians is not aware. Neither do
the people and institutions acting out these dramatic events.
Why does such ignorance exist? In Daniel 12:10, God reveals
the reason, “None of the wicked will understand; but
the wise will understand.”
Note how this movement is rapidly mushrooming, and within one year is aggressively seeking to acheive some super ambitious goals. Consider the goals (these must bring a chill to believers who understand the prophecy of Revelation13, and Revelation14):
Reference www.tencommandmentsday.com [August 2006]
A. Immediate goals of the Ten Commandments Commission (TCC ):
1. Registration of five million Ten Commandments Commission supporters before the end of the current President Bush term.
2. Create an international intercessors prayer network to pray for the re-establishment of the word of God around the globe.
3. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - An attack on Jerusalem is an attack on western society and the kingdom of God (interesting statement).
4. Make the Ten Commandments day an official day on the US calendar Millions to wear and display the Ten Commandments pins in the public square, in the places of work and the public education system.
B. TCC Short term goals:
1. Set up think tanks and educational platforms that will reach out and open channels of communications and dialogues with conservative groups throughout the globe.
C. TCC Long term goals:
1. Deliver valuable answers to the current secular humanists agendas and spiritual warfare and provide suitable directions to combat radical Islam and the humanists agendas.
Startling? Shocking? Amazing?
Now, carefully study this statement from Founder Ron Wexler, projecting May 6, 2007:
“Those who care about traditional values cannot passively sit by and watch the removal of the very principles that made this country great. The Ten Commandments are the heart of all moral code and must be restored to the heart of our society.
We are inviting all Christians, churches, synagogues, ministry leaders, religious bookstores and everyone who is interested in preserving traditional values to join us in a national and global movement to restore the Word of God to our nation.
The focal point of this movement is the second annual Ten Commandments Day that will be held on Sunday May 6, 2007.”
[May the world take God’s warning seriously!! Revelation 14: 9-12; Revelation 18:4,5;[Revelation 13:11-18]
In his latest treatise, Pope Benedict XVI reverts to medieval teaching. Hard on the heels of the recent Vatican statement declaring that the Jews have no scriptural claim to the Promised Land comes another papal shocker.
It is contained in the pope’s most recent apostolic exhortation,Verbum Domini (The Word of the Lord), issued on November 11.
In this lengthy exhortation, the pope has issued a lofty and impassioned plea for everyone in the church to rediscover the Bible (cna/ewtn News, November 11). But it’s more than an impassioned plea from this pope to his parishioners. It’s a direct attack on all who believe the inerrancy of the literal Scriptures as inspired by God!
In direct relation to the study of the Bible, Pope Benedict has criticized fundamentalist or literalist interpretations and urged renewed appreciation for the symbolic and spiritual interpretation techniques used by the ancient fathers of the church (ibid., emphasis mine).
In a most outlandish pontification, Benedict declared, “An authentic interpretation of the Bible must always be in harmony with the faith of the Catholic Church.”

BOSTON – The co-chairs of President Obama’s debt and deficit commission offered an ominous assessment of the nation’s fiscal future here Sunday, calling current budgetary trends a cancer “that will destroy the country from within” unless checked by tough action in Washington.
Dec. 1, 2009, marks a historic day in Germany in more ways than one! Coincident with the enacting of the Lisbon Treaty/EU constitution on December 1, Germany’s Constitutional Court has ruled that the nation’s capital must, like the rest of the country, abide by the law instituting Sunday as a day of rest from work and of spiritual improvement (Deutsche Welle, December 1).
Since the war, Berlin had enacted its own legislation allowing 10 shopping Sundays per year. That local ruling is now quashed. Effective from Jan. 1, 2010, Berlin must fall into line with the law institutionalizing Sunday as a day of rest and religious contemplation as contained in Germany’s Basic Law.
The actual law establishing Sunday as Germany’s weekly day of worship is enshrined in an appendix to the Basic Law under the heading, Extracts From the German Constitution of Aug. 11, 1919 [Weimar Constitution]. There we find, under the subhead, Religion and Religious Societies, Article 139, which reads: Sunday and holidays recognized by the state shall remain protected by law as days of rest from work and of spiritual improvement.
Though, under that same section, Article 137 (1) states, There shall be no state church, the effect of the Sunday law is to institutionalize Roman Catholicism and its daughter churches as Germany’s state religion.
Those aware of the history of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation will see this move by Germans highest court as one step further toward enforcing Rome’s religion, not only as the state religion on Germany, but on the whole European empire enacted by treaty on this infamous day, Dec. 1, 2009.
The prophecies of Revelation 13 leap into current-day perspective with this latest ruling of Germany’s Constitutional Court. For a clearer understanding of just where this is all leading, read our booklet, Who or What Is the Prophetic Beast?
Following a now well-established tradition, representatives of the Churches in Europe (Commission of the Bishops; Conferences of the European Community; COMECE - and Conference of European Churches; CEC) and in France met the French EU-Presidency today in Paris. The French State Secretary for European Affairs, M. Jean-Pierre Jouyet received the Church representatives in the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
According to the Bishops, the financial crisis has exposed a deeper spiritual crisis and a misguided set of values. The sense and value of human work has been pushed to the background in the general struggle for profit, the COMECE Bishops stated with regret on the occasion of their Autumn Plenary Assembly. This meeting, which took place from 12 to 14 November in the new offices of COMECE in square de Meeûs 19 in Brussels, was also marked by the presence of Fr Piotr Mazurkiewicz as the new Secretary General.
In the same spirit, the Bishops called for respect for Sunday rest as one of the foundations of the European social model and as a way of balancing work and family life. In recent years, Sunday as a weekly rest day has been threatened by legislation in many Member States thanks to liberal and consumerist-driven political concepts. In the context of the present economic crisis, the COMECE Bishops call on the Members of the European Parliament to assume their responsibilities and include the protection of Sunday in the Working Time Directive that will be submitted to the European Parliament’s vote by the middle of December.
The discussions focused on institutional issues (the future of the EU and the Lisbon Treaty) and on the financial crisis. The Church representatives, in their exchange of views with the State Secretary for European Affairs, expressed their wish to see the Sunday rest day being better protected in national legislations as well as in the future EU Working Time Directive which is currently being revised. In our societies and in our economies, where efficiency has become the ultimate criterion of valuation, Sunday rest allows the individual to be placed at the centre of society and calls attention to the fact that he is free and not the slave of work.
On the topic, Energy Conservation & Globalized America, a blogger, Michael Pearce wrote: There has been a lot of changes in the past 100 years. Not only have we seen gang activity increase along with crimes, but so has energy consumption. The other change I realized was the rescinding of the “Sunday Laws” across the United States.Originally, the Sunday Laws were instituted to make sure that people wouldn’t have to choose between work and church. Often, the nobility would use financial enticements toward the religious heads of households in order to coerce them to work in order to increase his own financial gain. This was unfair to those who needed money, feared losing their means of supporting themselves, and without such a law banning people from working (though I don’t believe it applied to you working for your own business), people would be further burdened.
I have to wonder if there weren’t more benefits to this. First, without businesses being open, your kids would have nowhere to go for entertainment. Parents would have at least 1 day they could spend with family & friends without having to align work schedules. Decrease in gas use across the board. Less crime (since parents are home on Sundays, there is no reason why you can’t keep an eye on them.) Fewer homeless people begging in the street (Since there are no people to beg from). Less Police would be necessary (if any at all… They could go on an “On Call As Needed” basis so they might be able to spend time with family. Neighbors would have time to get to know each other. How well do you know your neighbors now? Have you had any barbecues? Right now, I would guess that most people who may have barbecues, are only hanging out with people who are white collar regardless of the neighborhood you live in. Our work schedules can determine what class you relate to and hardens those lines even more.
As the oil crisis developed early 2008, my interest was aroused by this exchange during Bob Grant’s WABC Talk Radio show.
Caller: Bob, there is much discussion about the oil situation, but I am not hearing much about solutions.
Bob: Well, I have been saying it would be a great idea if for one day each week, say Sunday, people would rest and not travel much. Think of how much the nation would save. Already, Sunday is a day less traveled.
(Amazing! The idea of Sunday as a national day of rest continues to surface even outside of religious circles.)
